Mrs. Lillie Ann Baker, age 74 of Dalton, GA, departed this life Wednesday October 16, 2019 at her home. She was born in Ellijay, GA, a daughter of the late JC and Gladys Ponders Vick. She was also preceded in death by her son David Baker, brother JR Vick, sister Bonnie Vick.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Sam Baker of the residence; son, James Baker; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Charles Allen, Margaret and Jimmy Nix all of Dalton, GA, Kathy and Mark Hales of Chatsworth, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, JW Vick of Dalton, GA, Lonnie and Carolyn Vick of Cohutta, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Dianne and Tommy Elrod of Dalton, GA, Betty Ann Pierce; fourteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Lillie Ann Baker will be held Saturday October 19, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Donnie Trammell and Reverend Nathan Trammell officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery with James Nix, Tylor Brewster, Brian Brewster, Levi Sandoval, Michael J. Parm and Raul Ortega serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday.
