Lillian Christina Payne

Lillian Christina Payne was adopted at a very early age to Ms. Lillian Garcia Payne and was raised by both her Mother and "Poppy" Christopher Marzon.

Lily grew up on the beautiful shores in Miami beach. She was very active in the Latin community singing and performing dance routines weekly on the show Caliente' .

Ms. Payne received scholarships both academically and in sports.

She graduated and pursued her career as a Parks and Recreational Manager for the city of Fort Lauderdale. Shortly after she met and became best friends with Monica McHugh.  Monica and Lily have remained close for almost 40 years.

Dorinda Sloan, a very special person in Lily's life.  Dorinda charaterizes Ms. Payne as someone with a heart of gold, and the soul of a saint.

Lily had much compassion for animals and rescued many throughout the years. Shadow, Squeegie, Bandit and Peanut were among her most beloved.

Lillian battled with cancer and was in remission for two years.  She passed away of natural causes.

We know Lily is now at peace and may she rest in heaven.
