Ms. Lillian Sanders Parris, age 79, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Saturday, February 3, 2024 at her daughters residence. She was born August 27, 1944 in Section, Alabama a daughter of the late Luther and Eva Golden Sanders. She was also preceded in death by her husband Billy Gene Parris, son Ronald Gene Parris, daughter Alice McDowell, grandson Dustin Jenkins, brothers Ray Sanders, Dean Sanders, Cecil Sanders, Joe and Dorothy Sanders, sister Opal Sanders.

She is survived by her son, Terry Phillips of Dalton, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Christine and Matt Larsen of Chatsworth, GA, Janice and Steve Broyles of Naples, FL; Mary Jane and Larry Morehead of Waxahachie, TX, Frances and Matt Roddenberry of Collinsville, AL; brother and sisters-in-law, David and Teresa Sanders of Ft. Payne, AL, Judy Sanders of Grove Oak, AL; grandchildren, Tyler Evans, Rebecca and Susie Kasman, Cody Jenkins, Justin Jenkins; great grandchildren, Drayden, Dante; nieces and nephews; two special friends, Nancy Lively and Shirley Poer.

Service to celebrate the life of Ms. Lillian Sanders Parris will be held Thursday February 15, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday. A grave side service will be held Friday February 16, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. central time at the Monger Cemetery in Jacksonville, AL.
