Ms. Leona Faye Mullins, age 65, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Saturday morning, August 26, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Leona was born August 22, 1958 in Dalton, Georgia.  She was preceded in death by her longtime companion, Jerry Botts, her father, William Elzo Mullins, mother and step-father, Claudie Hughes Brownlee and Otis L. Brownlee, and a brother, Billy Dale Mullins.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Robert Wells of Resaca, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Edith Brownlee of Dalton, GA, Randy and Peggy Mullins of Ellijay, GA; aunt, Ruth Burke of Summerville, GA; several nieces and nephews.

She will be laid to rest with her beloved Jerry at Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday.
