Mr. Leon Marcus Baker, 56, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life on Friday, May 18, 2018 in Dalton.  Leon was born on February 4, 1962 in Harlan County, Kentucky, a son of the late Clyde Lena May Smith Baker.

Leon was a 1980 graduate of the Harlan Independent High School in Harlan, Kentucky.  Following school, he proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.  Following his armed forces service, he had been employed by Brown Printing.

He is survived by his brothers, Garrett L. Baker and Angela Wright, Michael Baker, and Robert Baker all of Dalton, Clyde Baker  and Michelle Baker of Lexington, Kentucky, and Steve Baker of Florida.

To honor Leon's wishes, he will be cremated and no formal services will be held.
