Mr. Larry Eugene Underwood, age 54 of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Saturday November 1, 2014 at his residence. Larry was born October 14, 1960 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, a son of the late Fred Underwood Sr. and Sarah Beck Underwood. Larry was the office manager for Quad Med/ Shaw Family Medical. He served his country in the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his loving wife of thirty one years, Teresa "Terri" Underwood of the residence; sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Ashlee Underwood of Covington, GA, Daniel and Kelly Underwood of Dalton, GA; brothers, Fred Underwood Jr. of Calhoun, GA, Terry Underwood of Dalton, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Charlotte Underwood, Angie and Chris Stokes of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Peyton Underwood, Eli Underwood; nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Larry Eugene Underwood will be held Tuesday November 4, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. from the McFarland Hill Baptist Church with Stephen Underwood and Pastor Wayne Cofield officiating. Interment will follow in the United Memorial Gardens with Marty Banks, Alan Cantrell, Barry Robins, Bob Husky, Tim Dover and Dr. Devin Handley serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
