Mr. Larry William Smith, age 62, of Rocky Face, Georgia, departed this life Tuesday morning, January 26, 2021 at his home. He was born April 18, 1958 in Ringgold, GA, a son of the late Paul William and Mamie Lou Penson Smith. He was also preceded in death by his sister Patsy Ruth Smith.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Kristi Smith of Lawrenceville, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mollie and James Hibbs of Rocky Face, GA, Tammy and Larry McAllister of Chatsworth, GA, Sandra Gray and Allan Rittenhouse of Rocky Face, GA, Carol Smith of Soddy Daisy, TN, Pennie Conner of Dalton, GA, Barbara Turner of Blue Ridge, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Larry William Smith will be held Thursday January 28, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Steve McBrayer officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
