Obituary
Mr. Larry Joseph Shelton, 66, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life on Sunday, June 10, 2018. He was born December 6, 1951 in Dalton, GA a son of the late Joseph Charlie Shelton and Callie Meeks Shelton Slaughter. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Harlan and Charlie Shelton, sisters, Betty Ritthouse, Catherine Bonnie Sanders.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Faye Shelton of Dalton, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn and Marion Smith of Villanow, GA, Mary and Homer Watson of Chatsworth, GA; several nieces and nephews.
Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Larry Joseph Shelton will be held Wednesday June 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Robert Beavers and Reverend Ronald Guffey officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
