Larry "Bear" Michael Payne, age 62, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Monday, August 22, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Larry was born June 5, 1954 in Murphy, North Carolina, a son to the late Charlie and Gladys Payne. He was also preceded by a son Neko Payne.

He is survived by his wife Heather Payne and a daughters, Neeka Payne of the residence, Tonya Marie Sherrill of Dalton, GA. Larry is also survived by a special friend Wendy Pedigo, and her children who called him Paw Paw ; Caitlin, Anthony, Benjamin, Emily, Matthew and Carly Pedigo.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
