Mr. Larry George Ensley , age 65 of Rossville, Georgia, departed this life, Thursday August 12, 2021 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.  Larry was born February 16, 1956 in Fannin County, Georgia.  Larry was a 1974 graduate of Eastbrook High School. He was a FHA Testing Coordinator at Shaw Industries Plant #3 where he worked for the past forty-seven years. He was a member of Ringgold Church of God.

Larry was a workaholic, he loved his work. He loved his family dearly and he leaves a legacy of Love and Faith. He loved his Lord Jesus Christ and was a loving husband, father and granddad.

He was preceded in death by his first wife of thirty-eight years, Phyllis Dryman Ensley who died, November 12, 2018, also his father, George Ensley, brother-in-laws, James Dryman and Cecil Carter, sister-in-law Connie Dryman, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, James William and Ida Mae Dryman.

He is survived by his wife, Gail Davis Ensley of Rossville, GA; brother-in-law, Gary Dryman of Dalton GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Lacey and Matthew Nicholson of Dalton, GA, Vanessa and Kelly Akins of St. Petersburg, FL, and Christa and Jason Wilson of Ringgold, GA; mother, Eunice Burk Ensley of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, Natalie Nicholson, Faith Nicholson, Brittany Grossman, Rachel Quarles, Andrew Akins, Kara Akins, Judah Wilson and Levi Wilson; great-grandchildren, Leigha Grossman and Carson Grossman; sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda and Tommy Bryant, Sr. of Dalton, GA, Lois Carter of Rocky Face, GA, and Charlotte and Carl Rittenhouse of Chatsworth, GA; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Larry George Ensley will be held Sunday, August 15, 2021 at 3:00 0'clock p.m. at Ringgold Church of God (117 Emberson Dr., Ringgold, GA, 30736) with Reverend Shane Calhoun and Bishop Carrol Allen officiating.  He will be laid to rest beside his beloved first wife at United Memorial Gardens with Jason Wilson, Randy Lyons, Matthew Rittenhouse, Patrick Carter, Matthew Morgan and Austin Bryant honored to serve as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be, Jason Dryman and Hunter Vess.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 6:00 o'clock p.m. until 9:00 o'clock p.m. Saturday and after 10:00 o'clock a.m. Sunday until the service hour.
