Mr. Larry E. Dempsey age 70 of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Friday afternoon, April 11, 2014 at the Quinton Memorial Health Care surrounded by his loving family. Larry was born February 27, 1944 in Dalton, Georgia a son to the late Albert and Clara Mathis Dempsey. He was also preceded in death by a brother Virgil Dempsey.

Larry is survived by a son Justin Dempsey of Raleigh, North Carolina, a daughter Crystal Dempsey of Rocky Face, Georgia, a nephew Randall Dempsey also of Rocky Face, Georgia and a close friend of the family Bradley Spain of Raleigh, North Carolina.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
