Mr. Lachlan Dewayne Beck, age 16, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Friday, October 27, 2023. Lachlan was born January 19, 2007 in Dalton, Georgia. He was a student at North Murray High School. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Beverly Fouts, great grandfather Benjamin Ray Jones, uncle Nathan Shipman.

He is survived by his parents, Daphanie and Michael Gibson of Chatsworth, GA, Shannon Beck of Dalton, GA; sisters, Jensen and Hunter Dunn of Crandall, GA,  Tatum Beck of Chatsworth, GA; nieces and nephews, Slade, Legacy, Blaze, Legend; great grandmother, Ruth Jones of Chatsworth, GA, George Beck of Dawsonville, GA, Joyce Carson of Onieda, TN, Ronnie and Loretta Gibson, Paulette Morris of Chatsworth, GA; uncles and aunts, Derick Shipman of Chatsworth, GA, Rhonda and Ryan Kelley of Alabama, Shane Beck of Chatsworth, GA, Timothy Mitchell of Dalton, GA, Anita Smith of Chatsworth, GA; special friends, Angela Sundstrom, Conner Ponders, Brock Bennett, and many other special friends of North Murray High School, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Service to celebrate the life of Lachlan Dewayne Beck will be held Wednesday November 1, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Fee officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
