Mr. James K. Ledford , age 61, of Rocky Face, GA, departed this life, Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at the local hospital. He was born August 30, 1959 in Dalton, GA, a son of the late James Leon Ledford and Letrell Raper Triplett.

He is survived by his children, Michael Ledford, Bradley Ledford both of Chatsworth, GA, daughters, Carley Ledford, Kayla Poteet both of Dalton, GA; brother, Chuck Ledford of Colorado; sister, Penny Jones of Texas; granddaughter, Makayla Powell and a grandson and a great grandson on the way.

Memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. James K. Ledford will be held Saturday April 24, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Due to the national health crisis and the Covid – 19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
