Mr. Kevin Shumake, age 44, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday afternoon, November 8, 2023 at his residence. He was born May 5, 1979 in Dekalb County, GA. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Dean Shumake.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Shumake of Dalton, GA; mother, Kathie Reeves; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dean and Heather Shumake, Darrell and Connie Shumake of Covington, GA; nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held Saturday November 18, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Claude Jones officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
