Mr. Kevin Dwight Calhoun, age 52, of Arnaudville, Louisiana, and formerly of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, departed this life the day before his birthday, Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at his home. Kevin was born October 31, 1960 in Dalton, Georgia. He was an auto mechanic by trade. He was preceded in death by his father, John Howard Calhoun.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Nell Rhudy Calhoun of Tunnel Hill, Georgia; sons, Kevin Neil Cornette, Jonathan Dwight Calhoun both of Dalton, GA; granddaughter, Alana DaShay Cornette; brothers, Chet and Sue Calhoun of Dalton, GA, Ricky Calhoun and Billy Calhoun both of Dalton, GA; sister, Cathy and Larry Harwood of Dalton, GA; aunts, Delores Williams of Dalton, GA, Geraldine Smith of Tunnel Hill, GA; special aunt, Mildred McArthur of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA; special cousins, Joan Butts and Ronald Hamrick; special friends and caregivers, Silvia Savelle and Lucas Bernand; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Kevin Dwight Calhoun will be held Tuesday morning, November 5, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Larry Marlin, Reverend Rick Edwards and Dr. Terry Ellis officiating. He will be laid to rest at West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday and after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until the service hour.
