Miss Kermyca Dawanna Hester, age 23, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, departed
this life Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at her home. Kermyca was born October 3,
2000, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by grandfather,
Willie Mathis, great-grandmother, Thelma Poole, and aunt, Lisa Vinson.
She is survived by her mother, LaShaunda Knight; father, Micheal Dewayne
Hester (Angelia Ralls); sisters, Tamora Knight, Chyna Knight and Treniya Knight; brothers,
Lavantez Knight, Micheal Knight and Reality Cross, and Isaiah Hester;
nephews and nieces, Chance Grundy, Malaya Knight, Trenton Knight,
A'Journee Hollins, A'Jaiden Hollins and Pharaoh Walton; grandparents, Wilma
Poole, Cassandra and Eric McElrath, and Arthur Knight; aunts and uncles,
Sherita Toney, Shartella Brown, Reginal Knight all of Chattanooga, TN, and
LaWanda Knight of Woodstock, GA; several cousins and other relatives.
Services to celebrate the life of Miss Kermyca Dewanna Hester will be held
Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Ponders Brainerd Chapel with Reverend
Gerald O'Quinn officiating. She will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Gardens
Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday morning after 11:00 a.m.
until the service hour.
