Mr. Kent Merrill Russell, of Ringgold, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, February 7, 2021, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 10, 1954 in Chattanooga, TN a son of the late Floyd Merrill and Juanita Loyce McBryar Russell. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Curtis Van Russell. He was a 1972 graduate of Baylor High School. He was a volunteer fireman for 20 years with the Catoosa County Fire Department. He retired from FM Russell Company after 45 years.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Watson Russell of the residence; sons and daughters-in-law, Taylor Merrill Russel and Kevina Green of Clarksville, TN, Aaron Joseph and Niccole Russell of Red Bank, TN; daughters and son-in-law, Ariel and Roger Crittenden of Riceville, TN, MaryBeth and Dustin Wheat of Ringgold, GA; grandchildren, Gavin Russell, Christine Russell, Kaitlyn Russell, Ansley Wheat, Justus Wheat, Brody Russell, Ian Wheat, Lucy Wheat, Sawyer Wheat, Landon Pastusic.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
