Mr. Kenneth Michael “Kenny” Chadwick, age 49, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at a local hospital.
Kenny was born October 19, 1976, in Dalton, Georgia. He spent many years working as a landscaper and he took pride in his work and enjoyed being outdoors. A member of Open Door Lighthouse Church, Kenny’s faith was an important part of his life.
Kenny will be remembered most for his kind and generous spirit. He truly had a heart bigger than himself and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Whether it was family, friends, or even strangers, Kenny never hesitated to give of his time or resources. He loved the outdoors and found peace and joy in nature, but above all, he cherished his family and the time he spent with them.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lonzo and Ida Chadwick, John Billy and Ruby Carnes; and a uncles, Terry Carnes and Bob Chadwick.
Kenny is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kristen and Adam Stephenson; his son, Andrew Chadwick; his parents, Kenneth and Cynthia Chadwick; his sister, Kimberly (Ashley) Chandler; his brother, Kevin (Kristin) Chadwick; his nieces and nephew, Kaley Chandler, Kara Chandler, and Korbin Chadwick; his aunts and uncles, Annette and Rick Ross, Diane and Martine Magana, Michael and Shirley Carnes, and Johnny and Traci Carnes; along with several cousins and many dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Kenneth Michael “Kenny” Chadwick will be held Sunday, April 26, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Open Door Lighthouse Church, 3700 Tibbs Bridge Rd., Dalton, GA 30721, with ministers Kevin Chadwick and Cynthia Chadwick officiating. He will be laid to rest beside his family at Mineral Springs Community Cemetery, with Kevin Chadwick, Adam Stephenson, Andrew Chadwick, Ashley Chandler, Rick Ross, and Randall Carnes honored to serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Open Door Lighthouse Church on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour.
The family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Ponders Melrose Chapel for funeral expenses.
