Mr. Kenneth Wendel Quarles II, age 62, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at his residence. He was born November 8, 1961 in Dalton, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his mother Evelyn Matthews Smith.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Connie Selby Quarles of the residence; daughter, Jessica Ryan Quarles of Chattanooga, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Collan and Megan Quarles of Chatsworth, GA; parents, Kenneth and Anna Quarles of Rocky Face, GA, Tom Smith of Rome, GA; brother, Keith Quarles of Rocky Face, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Delbert Haynes of Tunnel Hill, GA; grandchildren, Asher Brooks Guinn, Laramie Sophia Quarles, Kennedy Credence Quarles.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Kenneth Wendel Quarles II will be held Monday June 24, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Will Linginfelter officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Monday. He will be laid to rest at the Hill Crest Big Lick Cemetery in Crossville, TN. Jon Taylor, Robert Shoemaker, Tim Ausmus, Donald Selby, Chris Quarles and James Fisher honored to serve as pallbearers.
