Mr. Kenneth Eugene Parker, age 57, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Friday morning, July 12, 2013 at his residence. Kenneth was born February 11, 1956 in Dalton, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Parker and his grandparents, Lewis and Nancy Dunn and Benjamin and Eva Mae Cross. Kenneth graduated from North Whitfield High School. Kenneth was a true outdoorsman. He loved fishing, hunting, deer, dogs and camping with his grandkids.

He is survived by his wife, Pam Souders Parker of the home; parents, Malvin and Ruth Parker; sons, Shawn Parker, Cody and Amanda Parker, Jacob Thomison and Joshua Thomison; grandchildren, Bella Thomison, Jordan Parker, Levi Parker and Delilah Parker; cousins, aunts and uncles and his faithful companion, his little chihuahua dog, Minute.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Kenneth Eugene Parker will be held Monday, July 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Victor Vance officiating. He will be laid to rest at Whitfield Memorial Gardens with Shawn Parker, Cody Parker, Jacob Thomison, Joshua Thomison, Shane Anderson and James Jordan serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday and after 11:00 a.m. Monday until the service hour.
