Mr. Kenneth Mallindine, 84, of Calhoun, Georgia, departed this life Thursday evening, December 14, 2017 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, Georgia.
Kenneth was born in London, England on March 18, 1933, the only child of his late parents John Edward and Sarah Elliott Mallindine.
Prior to moving to Calhoun, Kenneth and his wife had lived in Jasper, GA., and for over 30 years in the Kankakee County, Illinois area. He served as a lieutenant for the volunteer fire department in Romeoville for several years. While in England he was also a member of the Royal Air Force. Kenneth had a love for stock car racing, and was a scorer for over 10 years at tracks in Kankakee and Fairbury Illinois. He was retired from Gestetner where he worked as a district manager.
Mr. Mallindine is survived by his loving wife, Janice Bronsing Mallindine of the residence; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon & Kurt Villwock of Oshkosh, WI; sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth & Marcy Mallindine of Bourbonnais, IL., Thomas & Cynthia Mallindine of Calhoun, GA.; grandchildren, Ryan Fitch, Sara Hansman, Alicia Noskowiak, Collin, Aaron, Maxwell, and Zachary Mallindine; great-grandchildren, Sydney, Steve, Chase, and Ryan Hansman, and Liam Noskowiak.
At Mr. Mallindine's request he will be cremated.
