Mr. Kenneth Anthony Grooms, age 51 of Calhoun, Georgia, departed this life Sunday afternoon, January 26, 2014 at his home. Kenneth was born December 11 1962 in Austell, Georgia a son to the late Charlie Grooms. Kenneth was also preceded in death by a brother Joe Grooms.

He is survived by his wife Ellen "Bonnie" Grooms, a step daughter and son in law Jennifer and Blake Jones, a step son and daughter in law Roger and Melissa Jones, his mother and step father Emma and James Young, sisters and brothers in law Becky and Jimmy Dean, Renee and Jimmy Holder and Elaine Bunch. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Kenneth Anthony Grooms will be held Thursday January30 2014 at 2:00 pm at Ponders Calhoun Chapel with Pastor Randall Fouts officiating. He will be laid to rest at United Memorial Gardens (Cedar Valley Cathedral of Praise) with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The Family will receive friends Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00pm at Ponders Calhoun Chapel.
