Mr. Kenneth Brackett, age 78, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life, Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Pruitt Health Care in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. Kenneth was born June 20, 1944 in Dalton, Georgia, the son of the late Thomas Clyde and Bessie Estelle Richards Brackett. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, J.D. Brackett, Floyd Brackett, Leamon Brackett, Richard Brackett, Jerald Brackett; sisters, Christine Helton, Shirley Brackett, Ida Mae Brackett and Wanda Farner.

Kenneth is survived by his son, Kenneth and Margie Brackett; daughters, Shirley and John Raines, Michelle and Dennis Walston all of Dalton, Georgia; brother, Donnie Brackett; grandchildren, English, Broley, Ben, Dellyn, Alton, Justin, Holden, Hunter, Kirsten; great-grandchildren, Blakely and Silas.

Service to celebrate the life of Kenneth Brackett will be held Wednesday August 17, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Tony Robertson officiating. Kenneth will be laid to rest at Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday August 17, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour of 2:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel.
