Mrs. Kaye Carolyn Bennett, age 57, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday, May 17, 2017 in Gainesville, Georgia. Kaye was born August 17, 1959 in Dalton, GA, the daughter of the late Gurman Marney and Bettie Lowery Alford. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Richard Bennett. Mrs. Kaye Carolyn Bennett is survived by her sons, Zachary( Jessica Torres) Bennett, Shane(Carlos Naranjo) Bennett; granddaughter, Anastasia mae Bennett; brothers, Scott and Julie Kent of Orlando, FL, James( Stephanie) Alford of Dalton, GA; sister, Jane( Bill ) Bain of Chatsworth, GA, and several nieces and nephews. Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Kaye Carolyn Bennett will be held, Saturday May 27, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. with Reverend Danny Cochran officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday May 27, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel. The family asked that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to Ponders Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
