Mrs. Kathy Hightower Davis, age 56 of Port Orange, Florida and formally of Dalton, GA and Atlanta, GA, departed this life, Wednesday May 13, 2015 at the Halifax Heath Hospice in Port Orange. She was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Mae Hightower, father and stepmother, Bobby and Jewell Hightower, grandparents, Jessi and Ellie Dills, Henry and Nola Hightower.
She is survived by her husband, Ricky Davis of Port Orange, FL; daughter and her fiance, Hayley Davis and Nathan Mixdorf of Seattle, WA, daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Shawn McGill of Kennesaw, GA; granddaughter, Addison McGill; siblings and their spouses, Randy and Glenda Hightower, Bobby and Tina Hightower, Gary and Crystal Hightower, Cindy and Terry Sissom, Michael Hightower, Don Hightower; stepbrothers, Sonny, Lewis and James Jones; stepsister, Shelia Odom; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held Friday May 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from McFarland Hill Baptist Church 307 Brickyard Rd Dalton, GA 30721. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Inurnment will follow in the Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
