Ms. Kathy Diane Blackstock, age 60, of Calhoun, Georgia, departed this life Monday May 13, 2024 at the Advent Redmond Hospital in Rome, GA. She was born September 2, 1963 in Rome, GA, a daughter of the late Glynn and Callie Worley Blackstock. She was also preceded in death by her grandson Hunter Lee Allen, brother Kenneth Blackstock, sister Karen Hayes.

She is survived by her son, Josh James; daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Jeremy Allen; companion, Tim Wakeland all of Calhoun, GA; best friend, Patti Martin of Chatsworth, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Jackie and Charlotte Blackstock of Florida; grandchildren, Kaylin James, Carlie Burk, Nolan Allen, Ryder Allen; special nephews, Eric Hayes, Colby Hayes; several cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Ms. Kathy Diane Blackstock will be held Wednesday May 15, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. from the Ponders Calhoun Chapel with Tim Erwin officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
