Mrs. Katherine Henson age 83, of Ranger, Georgia departed this life Tuesday January 25, 2022 at her residence.  Katherine was born October 31, 1938 in Ranger, Georgia, a daughter of the late John Henry and Bell Lenning Mulkey. She was also preceded in death by the father of her children, Herbert Henson, a son, Herbert Terry Henson, a granddaughter, Belinda Davis, sisters, Ruby Brumlow, Lora Bell "Tootie" Mulkey, Marie Roe, Nina Jo "Jo Jo" Mulkey, Mazelle Pratt and Lenelle Mulkey, and brothers, John Derwood "Buddy" Mulkey, Charles "Charlie Bingon" Mulkey and Doyle Mulkey.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Samantha and Raymond Davis of Cherry Log, Georgia, Lisa Henson Moorehead of Fairmount, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Sheila Henson;  brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Jean Mulkey of Delta, Alabama; grandchildren, Kevin Cansler, Dustin and Brittany Henson, Shaun Moorehead, Zachary and Heather Moorehead, Rick and Tina Davis, Patrick Davis and Celeste Hernandez; thirteen great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Private crypt side service will be held Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the mausoleum at Haven of Rest Cemetery with Reverend Denny Smith officiating. Private services due to Covid-19. In lieu of flowers donations made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
