Mr. Junior Dempsey, age 74, of Dalton, GA, departed this life, Wednesday March 29, 2017 at the local hospital. Junior was born January 13, 1943, the son of the late John William Dempsey and Eliza Jane Cook Cronan Dempsey. Junior was also preceded in death by his son, John Daniel Dempsey; daughter, Angela Dempsey. Junior serve his country proudly, he was a veteran of the United States Army.

Mr. Junior Dempsey is survived by his son, Paul Robert Dempsey; daughter, Jane White; sister, Wilma Cantrell, all of Dalton, GA; brothers, Larry Dempsey and Jackie Dempsey both of Ringgold, GA.

Graveside service will be held Thursday April 6, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery, with American Legion Post 167 of Chatsworth performing the military rites.
