Mr. Julian Shane Eades, age 56, of Resaca, Georgia, departed this life Friday, March 24, 2023, at the local hospital.  Shane was born February 21, 1967, in Dalton, GA, a son of the late William Joseph and Geneva Kate Smith Eades. He was also preceded in death by his brothers-in-law, Paul Mulkey, James Roberts.

He is survived by his wife, Lavita Eades of the residence; sons, Trey Shane Eades of Dalton, GA, Jonathan Richard Atkins of Michigan; sisters and brother-in-law, Cheryl Mulkey of Resaca, GA, Kathy Roberts of Dalton, GA, Melanie and Bob Reichley of Resaca, GA; grandchildren, Aiden and Cayden; nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Julian Shane Eades will be held Monday March 27, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Robert Griffin III and Ryan Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the Ponders Whitfield Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are Clint Posey, Jackie Gray, Roger Trotten, James Norton, Kenny Bishop, and Chad Mulkey. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the service hour on Monday. American Legion Post 112 will ne in charge of military honors.
