Ms. Julia Mae Herring "Nanny", age 59, of Dalton, GA, departed this life, Monday May 29, 2017 at the local hospital. Nanny was born September 18, 1957 in Painesville, OH. The daughter of the late Donald Green and Nola Iris Hissam.

Ms. Julia Mae Herring "Nanny" is survived by her son, Daniel Payne of Canton, GA; daughter, Lisa Moura of Calhoun, GA; fianc, Lonnie Dewees of Dalton, GA; brothers, Delmar Green of Ellijay, GA, David Green; sisters, Jane Clever, Jennifer English; grandchildren, Jessie Raven Smith, Danni Smith, Kayle Smith, Hali Smith, Jake Smith, Allison Reeves, Hewson Reeves; great- grandchildren, Kayden Bennett and one on the way.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Ms. Julia Mae Herring "Nanny", will be held, Saturday June 3, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. from Ponders Calhoun Chapel.
