Mrs. Judy Lorraine Hosford, 79, of Hixson, Tennessee, departed this life Monday January 10, 2022 at her home. She was born September 10, 1942, in Mckeesport, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Lyle Wilkinson McCoy and Iva Elizabeth Gamble. She was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan, a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She put everyone else before herself. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Ronald McCoy; husband, Roger Hosford and her son Thomas Economos.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory two children, Sherri (Tim) Brooks of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, Scott ( Michelle ) Hosford of Ooltewah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Amanda ( Adrian ) Taber of Hixson, Tennessee, Jacob Hosford of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Michael ( Bentje )Brooks of Hixson, Tennessee, Nikk Economos of Dalton, Georgia , Tuesday Economos of Dalton, Georgia, Jerry ( Amanda ) Logan of Hixson, Tennessee, Jessica ( Ryan) Cross of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee; great-grandsons, Keith, Xaiden, Jaiden and River.

The family would like to thank Dawn Fuller, Judy's caretaker, Silver Angels and Jessica with Hearth Hospice for all their help with Judy's care.

Service to celebrate the life of Judy will be held, 2:00 p.m. Friday January 14, 2022 from Ponders Brainerd Chapel with Dr. Steven Granger officiating. Interment will take place at Chattanooga National Cemetery, Tuesday January 18, 2022 at 1:30 p.m.
