Mrs. Judy Sue Bryson, age 77, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life on Monday, March 3, 2025, at the local hospital. She was born October 5, 1947 in Dalton, Georgia, a daughter of the late James and Barbara Huffman Hooker. She was also preceded in death by her husband Hubert Bryson, sisters Patricia Hooker, Clara Carver, sister-in-law Fannie Hooker, nephew David Martin.

She is survived by her brother, Gene Hooker; sister, Sharon Fay Hall, Joy Martin, Mary Kathryn Pelfrey; brother-in-law, Jack Carver all of Dalton, GA; several nieces and nephews; special pet, Angel.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Judy Sue Bryson will be held Friday March 7, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Tony Robertson officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at the Deep Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday.
