Ms. Judith A. Stanley, age 73, of Chatsworth, GA, departed this life Friday, May 7, 2021 at Hospice of Chattanooga with her daughter and sister by her side. She was born January 13, 1948 in Wise County, VA, a daughter of late Everett Roberts and Atha Wright. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Larry Roberts, Raymond Roberts, sister, Seronda Phillips, brother-in-law, Bobby Adams, grandson, Bandon Fleming, great grandchild, Grecyn Ensley.  Judith moved to Georgia in 1981 and was known to open her home for her family and friends to stay. Judith was known for having a heart of gold and was loved by many.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Everett and Natosha Fleming; daughter and son-in-law, Anita Fleming and Eric Garcia of Alabama; Grandchildren, Katrice and Austin Ensley of California, Makayla Grizzell, Nick Fleming, Alivia Fleming of Alabama; great grandchildren, Aidon Prickett, Maxine Prickett of Georgia, Rhilynn Ensley, Ellijah Ensley of California; brothers and sisters-in-law, Glenn and Jeannie Roberts of Florida, Lester and Melissa Wright of Georgia, Corbin and Tina Wright of Kentucky, Jeffrey and Missy Wright of Georgia; sisters and brother-in-law, Thelma and Ricky Truss, Greta Wright of Georgia; sister-in-law, Sharon Roberts of Kentucky; very special friend, Diane Hefner Caylor.

Service to celebrate the life of Ms. Judith A. Stanley will be held Wednesday May 12, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. Interment will follow in the Ponders Murray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Due to the national health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
