Mrs. Juanita Greene Lewallen, age 62, of Resaca, Georgia, departed this life Monday, July 21, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Juanita was born June 18, 1952 in Dalton, GA, a daughter of the late Miranda Belle Duvall Greene. She was also preceded in death by her grandchild, Keslee Cordell, brother, James Greene, sisters, Virginia Sutton, Marylou Brown, father-in-law, Gordon Lewallen. She was a member of Valley Brook Church of God. She loved to sing, collected tea pots, loved turquoise jewelry, loved vegetables, and most of all she loved her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of thirty nine years, Charles William Lewallen of the residence, son and daughter-in-law, Jesse and Tara Lewallen of Chatsworth, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Daniel Brown of Rocky Face, GA, grandchildren, Sydney Lewallen, Broghen Lewallen, Kaleigh Taylor, Kinsli Cordell, Kamen Cordell, Hunter Brown Sarah Brown, Jacob Brown; brother and sister-in-law, Dewitt and Sandra Greene of Resaca, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Bonnie Simpson of Dalton, GA, Helen Kelly of Calhoun, Agnes LaPlant, Rosalee Smith of Dalton, GA, Patricia and Lamar Burnette of Chatsworth, GA; mother-in-law, Ruby Bell Lewallen; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Marylyn Greene of Calhoun, GA, Jr. and Eloise Lewallen, Betty and Carson Odell, of Chatsworth, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life Mrs. Juanita Greene Lewallen will be held Thursday July 24, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. from the First Assembly of God with Reverend Junior Clayton and Reverend Herman Parker officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
