Ms. Juanita Marie "Weeder" Baldridge, age 77, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life, July 29, 2018 at Kindred Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Juanita was born February 23, 1941 in Dalton, Georgia, a daughter of the late Reverend Roy S. and Cora Jane Ledford Davis.  She was also preceded in death by her brother, Fred Davis, sisters and brothers-in-law, Beulah and John Brindle, Hazel and Hershel Eaker, Pauline and Harold Phillips, and Donald Blevins.

Juanita was a loving, caring and hard working person who loved her family deeply.  She was stubborn and you always knew where you stood with her.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Lamar Baldridge of Dalton, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Cora and Tommy Evans of Cohutta, GA; grandchildren, Thomas and Kaleigh Evans, Amanda Evans and Michael Evans; great-grandchildren, Zaila Evans, Emma Evans, Caden Deal and one on the way, Little Paisley Deal;  sisters and brother-in-law, Beatrice Blevins, Grace and Andrew Harris all of Dalton, GA; special family friends, Melanie Lawless, Amelia Jane Lawless, Lee and Rhonda Joseph an Janice Williams; several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Ms. Juanita Marie "Weeder" Baldridge will be held Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with officiating.  She will be laid to rest with her family at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Tunnel Hill, Georgia, with Thomas Evans, Michael Evans, Scotty Phillips, Steve Eaker, Rodney Huggins, and Brian Davis serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel after 11:00 a.m. Thursday until the service hour.
