Mrs. Juana Lopez age 47 of Chatsworth, GA departed this life May 12, 2019 at the Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Juana was born on March 15, 1972 in San Diego de La Union, Guanajuato, Mexico.  She was preceded in death by her father, Francisco Lopez Hernandez.

She had been employed by Lonesome Oak Trading Company for over eight years.  Juana was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Dalton.  She prayed very often and was a very faithful woman.

Mrs. Lopez is survived by her husband of twenty-five years, Raul Gonzalez; her mother, Juana Herrera of San Diego de La Union, Guanajuato, Mexico; son, Raul Gonzalez; daughters, Maricruz Gonzalez, Lusi Jimena Gonzalez, Berenise Gonzalez, and Yadira Ruby Gonzalez all of Chatsworth, Georgia; sisters, Patricia Herrera, Judith Herrera, Margarita Herrera, and Maria Consepcion Herrera all of San Diego de La Union, Guanajuato, Mexico; brothers, Francisco Javier Lopez Herrera of Dalton, Georgia, Eulalio Lopez Herrera of San Diego de La Union, Guanajuato, Mexico, Rigoberto Lopez Herrera of Mineral Wells, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Salomon Garcia officiating.  Interment will be at Ponders Murray Memorial Gardens with Antonio Tapia Lopez, Eduardo Mendiola, Rigoberto Lopez, Francisco Javier Lopez Herrera, Rosario Mendiola, Maximino Mendiola, Rogelio Mendiola, and Marcelino Torres serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Ponders Melrose Chapel.  Rosary service will be held on Tuesday, at 7:00 PM.  The family will also receive friends on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 8:30 AM until the service hour.
