Mr. Juan Guevara, Jr., age 81, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Monday, June 15, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Juan was born March 21, 1945, in Brownsville, Texas, a son of the late Juan Guevara, Sr. and Maria Garcia. He was also preceded in death by a niece, Olivia Gonzalez.

Juan was retired from Shaw Industries where he worked for over seventeen years and was a member of Saint Toribio Romo Catholic Church in Chatsworth, Georgia.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Gonzalez of the residence; nephews and nieces, Adrian Triaidad, Blanca Gonzalez both of Chatsworth, GA, Matilde de Santiago of Fresno, CA, and Particia Gonzalez of Zacatecas, Mexico; several other relatives and many close friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, June 19, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Saint Toribio Romo Catholic Church (2402 US-76, Chatsworth, GA, 30705) with Father Arturo Merriman officiating. He will be laid to rest at Ponders Memorial Gardens in Chatsworth, Georgia, with his nephews honored to serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday, with rosary being held at 7:00 p.m.
