Mr. Juan Carlos Garay age 22, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at Hamilton Medical Center. Juan was born April 21, 2000 in Poteau, Oklahoma, a son of Isidoro and Angela Garay Trejo. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Floyd Russel and Mary Sue Clinton; maternal great grandparents, Joe and Geraldine Bryant; cousin, Paige Barton; and other aunts and uncles.

Juan was a member by blood of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.

Juan is survived by his parents, Isidoro and Angela Garay Trejo of Dalton, Georgia; brother, Antwon Clinton of Oklahoma; sister, Victoria Garay Trejo of Dalton, Georgia; grandparents, Juan Hernandes and Margara Trejo of Mexico; aunt and uncle, Nikki and Wayne Place of Howe, Oklahoma; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorial service to celebrate the life of Juan Carlos Garay will be held Saturday, February 11, 2023 from Ponders Melrose Chapel from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
