Mrs. Joyce Ann Strickland , age 70, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at her residence. She was born November 20, 1951 in Dalton, Georgia, a daughter of the late Robert and Ada Spence Martin. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Richard Spence, Roger Martin, sisters, Phyllis Martin, Marcie Seritt, Geneva Bennett, Brenda Martin.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Eric and Regina Gilbert of Dalton, GA, Jeff and Denise Gilbert of Calhoun, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa Jones and Brandon Muensterman of Dalton, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Sue Martin of Calhoun, GA, Timmy Martin of Dalton, GA; sister, Kathy Martin of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, Chasity Bonds, Hunter Gilbert, Garret Muensterman, Kyler Bonds, Preston Gilbert, Chase Bonds; great grandchildren, Ashton and Noelle; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Joyce Ann Strickland will be held Sunday July 31, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Erma Raymond the associate Pastor at New Bethel AME church in Lithonia, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday.
