Mrs. Joy Caldwell, age 68, of Dalton, GA, departed this life Sunday, November 27, 2016 at the Emory St. Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta, GA. She was born June 7, 1948 in Dalton, GA, a daughter of the late Rufus and Mattie Lou Edwards Harris. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred Caldwell, son, Darren Wells, sister, Martha Hollis.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Glenn Womack of Cedartown, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Jan and Jack McGill of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Matthew Womack, Daniel Wells; one great grandchild, as well as nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held Sunday December 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. from the Gwinnett Baptist Tabernacle 6690 Buford Hwy Doraville, GA.
