Mr. Joseph 'Jeff" Fred Nations, 71, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Friday, August 23, 2019 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Fred was born April 28, 1948 in Dalton, Ga., the son of the late Jim Nations and Maude Overby Nations. Jeff was also preceded in death by his sons Bryan Nations, Jeffery Nations; brother, Jeff Nations. Fred proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Sherry Nations, son, Tyler Nations; daughter, Sandee Price; brothers. Randy (Vicky) Nations, Lonnie Overby. d is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service to celebrate the life of Jeff will be held Tuesday September 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from Chattanooga National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday September 3, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel.
