Mr. Joseph Luster "Joe" Champion Jr., age 75, of Fairmount, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday January 15, 2025 at his residence. He was born July 31, 1949 in Calhoun, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Champion Sr. and Floy Lee Davenport Champion, several brothers and sisters, grandson Randy Wilson.

He is survived by his daughters; Sherry Champion Wilson of Fairmount, GA, Lisa Champion Gill of Calhoun, GA; granddaughter, Alexandra and Chase Hall of Trion, GA; grandson, Carson England of Fairmount, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, Billy Champion, Jack and Gail Champion, Von Champion all of Fairmount, GA; godson, Dylan Young; special friends, Mary Ann Bohannon, Katherine Brown of Sugar Valley, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service to celebrate the life of Mr. Joseph Luster "Joe" Champion Jr. will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday January 25, 2025 at the Johnson Cemetery with Thomas Gill officiating. The family will receive friends after 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
