Mr. Jose De Jesus Luna, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, September 17, 2017 at the Memorial Hospital. He was born January 28, 1940 in San Luis, Mexico, a son of the late Guadalupe and Carmen Luna. He was also preceded in death by his wife Guadalupe Rodriguez Luna, granddaughter, Anjelica Luna.

He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny Luna, Armando and Pilar Luna, Rolando Luna all of Dalton, GA; brothers, Jose Luna of Texas, Raymon Luna of Wyoming, Tony Luna of Dalton, GA; sisters, Ester Solis of Texas, Elicia Hinojosa, Guadalupe Quintero of Dalton, GA, Rosa Luna of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA; eleven grandchildren, one great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Jose De Jesus Luna will be held Wednesday September 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. Interment will follow in the Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday September 19, 2017
