Mr. Jonathon Isaac Cox age 38, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Saturday, January 7, 2023 at his residence. He was born May 1, 1984 in Bristol, TN. He was a 2002 graduate of Murray County High School.

He is survived by his children, Logan Adkins, Hayden Cox, Tristian Cox, Abby Cox all of Chatsworth, GA; parents, Larry and Teresa Day of Ringgold, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Angela and Christopher Sanford of Chatsworth, GA, Krystle and Dale Keener of Rocky Face, GA, Sarah Sotelo of Ringgold, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, James and Valarie Day of Chatsworth, GA, Charles Thomas Cox Jr. of Kentucky; aunt, Janetta Ballew of Chatsworth, GA; nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Jonathon Isaac Cox will be held Wednesday January 11, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. Interment will follow in the Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
