Mr. Johnny Rogers, age 60, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Sunday evening, December 15, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  Johnny was born October 16, 1959 in Dalton, Georgia, a son of the late William Earl and Ruby Lee Ponders Rogers. He was also preceded in death his first wife, Rhonda Bearden Rogers, sisters, Peggy Ellis and Sue Shelton and his brothers, Claude "Hammie", William, Joe, David and Roy Rogers.

Johnny worked for over 28 years at Yarn Equipment Specialty Sales. He was a member of Faith Worship Center.

He is survived by his wife, Lillie "Cricket" Mullinax Mantooth of the residence; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Diane Duckett, Jr. of Ellijay, GA, Nathan and Cindy Duckett, Tony Everette, Nicholas and Stacey Mantooth all of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, Jake, Kyle, Chad and Matt Duckett, Brody and Emma Thomas, Natasha Elliott, Gage and Ally Everette and Enzo Mantooth; brother and sister-n-law, Marvin and Angela Rogers of Chatsworth, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Jenevelyn Avirett, Paula Owens, Pat and Carl Sheppard all of Chatsworth, GA, and Louise Dutton of Dalton, GA; several nieces, nephews and many cousins.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Johnny Rogers will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Vince Goble officiating.  He will be laid to rest beside his first wife at Faith Cemetery in Murray County, Georgia, with Ethan Duckett, Randall Owens, Chad Duckett, Kyle Duckett, Nathan Duckett and James Duckett, Jr. serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until the service hour
