Mr. Johnny Dalmer "Buster" Moreland, age 64, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Monday, November 17, 2025, at his residence.

Buster was born March 4, 1961, in Chatsworth, Georgia, the youngest and last surviving child of John and Lois Morehead Moreland. His parents were already elderly at the time of his birth, and he experienced the profound loss of his father in 1974 and his mother in 1988. Buster faced many challenges throughout his life, and often said he was a graduate of the "school of hard knocks." His journey was not an easy one, but it was uniquely his, shaped by hardship, resilience, and the complexities of a difficult life.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James "Jim" and Hattie Saylors Morehead, and Nathan C. "Nat" and Mary Polly Henson Moreland; his sisters, Eunice Mae Hilburn, Mary Kathy Moreland, Minnie Ruth Thomas, and Jimmie Irene and Rev. Delmar Gohley; and his brothers, Clifford Moreland, Bobby Moreland, and Jerry Moreland.

Buster is survived by his daughter, Kristi Hill; grandchildren, Briana Hill and Gavin Hill; and several nieces and nephews.

In accordance with his wishes, Buster will be cremated, and no services will be held at this time.
