Mr. John Herman Wyatt age 82, of Dalton, GA departed this life, Sunday May 28, 2017 at his residence. John was born November 1, 1934 in Calhoun, GA, a son of the late John Willard and Alice Lance Wyatt. He was also preceded in death by his son, George Wyatt, sister, Janelle Miller. John proudly served his country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife of sixty one year, Marie Wyatt of the residence; sons, Chester Wyatt, Lewis Wyatt of Dalton, GA; daughters and son-in-law, Brenda and Richard Palkovic of Sevierville, TN, Toni Wyatt of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Mark Walker, Melissa Walker, Christopher Wyatt; great grandchildren, Jacob, Austin, Carson, Natalia, Kirsten, Lucas, Hudson; nieces, Donna Miller, Annette Nguyen, Susan Horton, Joy Horton.

Service to celebrate the life of John Herman Wyatt will be held Wednesday May 31, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery with Leo Walker, Mark Walker, Carson Walker, Richard Palkovic, Matt Dobbs and Jacob Szewczyk serving as pallbearers. Hudson Garcia and Lucas Wyatt will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
