Mr. John Calvert Williams Sr., age 81, of Cohutta, Georgia, departed this life early Friday morning, July 31, 2020 at Wood Dale Health Care Center. He was born February 10, 1939 in Quitman, GA a son of the late JB and Amanda Ross Williams. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Susan Blodgett, granddaughter, Taylor Smith Collins.

He is survived by his wife, Nellie Eason Williams of the residence; sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny Williams Jr. of Dalton, GA, Derek and Tina Williams of Canton, GA, T. R. Williams of Houston, TX, Keith and Melody Landon of Rocky Face, GA; daughters, Alicia "Lisa" Williams of Boise, Idaho, Angela Smith and Jimmy Teston of Jessup, GA; sister, Joni Virginia Wolfe of Ellaville, GA; 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 on the way, nieces and nephews.

At his request he will be cremated and no services will be held at this time.
