Mr. John Earl Stewart, age 77, of Rocky Face, GA, departed this life, Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the local hospital. John was born, August 29, 1939 in Florida. He was the son of the late George Cooper Stewart and Ruby Lee Hand Stewart. John was also preceded by his wife, Frankie Madeiros Stewart; brothers, Vernon Stewart, George Stewart, Virgil Stewart, Duvard Stewart; sisters, Annie Bell Porter.

Mr. John earl Stewart is survived by his son, Christopher Stewart of Mandeville, LA; brother, Dallas and Tammy Stewart of Panama City, FL; sisters, Wanda Clark of Calhoun, GA, Claudia and Dave Murphy of Merriana, Florida, Joyce and Eddie Nichols of Fountain, FL, Nell and Bill Wood of Panama City, FL; special sister, Glenda Wright of Rocky Face, GA; grandson, Alex and Cristen of Fort Oglethorpe, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. John Earl Stewart will be held, Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Eddie Nichols officiating. Interment will follow at Dunagan Cemetery.

The family will receive friends, Monday, December 19, 2016 at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m and from 12:00 p.m. Tuesday until the service hour.
