Mr. John "Lamar" Stacy, age 79, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life, Sunday February 13, 2022. He was born January 2, 1943 in Dalton GA a son of the late William Claude and Willie Parks Stacy. He was also preceded in death by his son, Matthew Dean Stacy, five brothers and four sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Julia Stacy of the residence; son, Tony Lamar Stacy of Dalton, GA; granddaughters, Madison Stacy of Calhoun, GA, Tia Lashae Stacy of Somerset, KY; sister-in-law, Bonnie Stacy of Dalton, GA; several nieces and nephews.

At his request he will be cremated and no services will be held at this time.
